David Viviano vs Sacerdotus

**UPDATE Oct 14, 2014**

It seems that David Viviano aka Gamma Atheist does not want to go through with his acceptance to debate me.  I have messaged him on Youtube's Google plus channel and he deleted the thread.

Well it seems David Viviano aka "Gamma Atheist" has mustered up some courage to debate me and I would love to do it.  It would be an honor to engage him.  However, he needs to contact me via email to discuss the details and the logistics as I do represent an institution and am not at liberty to make my own schedule etc.  

Moreover, the debate was my idea and I had told him where the debate would be (here).  This is the purpose of this blog.  I want to keep a static log of the debate for all to view anytime.  However, this does not mean a future debate cannot happen elsewhere after this first one takes place on this blog.  So in the mean time, it would be logical to hold the debate here until the other details are worked out via email for a future debate on another forum.    

The rules and layout are found on this post below.  I will wait for David to email me. This should be fun.  I hope other atheists don't ruin it with their nonsense.

Universe From Nothing

From the Book of Genesis to Modern Physics, humanity has wondered what the universe is made out of and how it came to be.  Did it come from 'nothing' or from 'something?'  Today's physicists believe the former.  Does this prove or disprove God?

What is 'Reality?'

Atheists often claim that theists are not realistic when promoting faith.  They claim that all we need to study and know is what is in 'reality.'  To them, God is an imaginary being that is not present in 'reality.'

However, what is 'reality?'  

This universe is mostly empty space.  Solidity is an illusion created by forces generated by electrons.  We really cannot confirm what 'reality' is and studies show that this universe might be a computer program of sorts.

Alien Life and Religion

On the news there was a report that NASA discovered 3 "Earth like" planets. In light of this, life on other worlds is most likely a reality.

• If intelligent life does exist and makes contact with us or we with them, will this force world religions to rethink certain ideas? 
• Will these beings need salvation? 
• What if they have a different view of God(s)? 
• Will they have a soul? 
• What if they claim to have "engineered" the human race by manipulating the genetic pool in primitive Earth?

God is a "Myth"

Atheists proudly proclaim that God is a "myth."  A myth by definition is:


a usually traditional story of ostensibly historical events that serves to unfold part of the world view of a people or explain a practice, belief, or natural phenomenon  

However:

• Every story has an original story teller or author. e.g. The Cat in the Hat - Author, Dr. Suess
• If God is indeed a myth.  If all religions are recirculating a story, then who was the first to come up with this story?  
• Who was the first to develop the concept of God?

In order for the idea that God is a myth to stand on its own, it needs evidence tracing this myth to an original author.  To date, not one atheist has provided any falsifiable evidence linking the God myth to an original author or thinker.  It is speculative reasoning by all accounts.    

So the question remains: Who developed the God concept that has fooled mankind for thousands of years?

Recently a horrific event took place in the state of Connecticut in a small town named Newtown.  A 20 year old entered Sandyhook elementary school and began firing at everyone killing teachers and kids as young as 6 years old.

The nation and the world is in deep pain at the loss of so much life; lives which were supposed to be learning, not expiring.  

Many are questioning what was the purpose behind all of this.  

• Was this God's plan?   
• Where was God?  

What are your thoughts?  

Why do Atheists Care about God?

• Atheism is a belief that there is no God/never was one.  
• Despite this bold claim, Atheists are still fixated on God.  This is interesting because let's say: 

1. Person A does not like carrots and Person B does.  
2. Being that Person A despises carrots he/she will not even contemplate it; whereas Person B loves carrots and will contemplate them.  

So why do Atheists care about a being that does not exist, is fictional - a myth?  

Why waste cognitive resources contemplating a supposed figment of the imagination?

A) Matter is information 

B) Matter cannot produce it on its own- needs sentient sender.  

C) Sentient Sender must be intelligent and Causal/Mover Agent in order to code matter.

Where was God on September 11?

After the attacks on September 11, Churches, Synagogues, Mosques and other places of worship were packed to capacity daily.  Everyone wanted to pray and be in the good with the Almighty.

However, these questions were deep in their heart: 

• Where was God?  
• Why didn't God prevent the slaughter of over 2,000 people in these horrific attacks?

Can one be Moral without God?

UPDATE:  August 21, 2012 9:00 PM Easter time,

Rosa Rubicondior has forfeited and is declared the loser of the debate.  She has, by her own will, bowed out of the debate.  She has even blocked my Twitter.   I wish Rosa well and am disappointed that she did not trust her Atheistic reasoning enough to debate me.  Hopefully she will study more and prepare for a future debate if she wishes to try again.  I am open to debate her or any Atheist.

UPDATE May 16, 2013

The verdict is in and @rosarubicondior is declared the loser of the debate for good.  Every attempt has been made to continue the debate and instead Rubicondior resorts to ad hominem and falsely applying another's identity on me in order to distract.  It is obvious that Rubicondior is an internet troll seeking only attention and is not serious about atheism.  Rubicondior is the reason why many abandon atheism and join religion, hence why atheism has a short retention.  

Any religious individual reading this blog post should block and report rubicondior as spam.  He is nothing but a waste of time and has serious psychiatric issues.  I hope he gets the help needed.  Let us pray for this troubled soul.

Why does God allow Evil?

Life is beautiful, this universe, this world are beautiful.  However, we often face many things that are interpreted as "evil."  

Evil is an argument used by Atheists to prove there is no God.

• If God is all good, how can evil exist?  
• If God is all Good, why doesn't He stop evil?
